A new report on “Best Practices in Naloxone Treatment Programs for Opioid Overdose” is now available from the Center for Evidence-Based Policy, Medicaid Evidence-based Decisions Project at Oregon Health & Science University. The full report is available here.

The report describes the legal climate surrounding naloxone programs in a number of states, including North Carolina, and has in depth case studies on programs in New Mexico, Massachusetts and Vermont. It also includes sample documents used in naloxone programs.
